Bittersweet - PART 2

Today brought the beginning of a journey.

A journey of FAITH, where a group of believers met as a small church body to explore God's Word and encourage each other. Our new Pastor, happens to be my dad; and the group of friends surrounding us is SMALL, but MIGHTY.

We took communion, explored God's Word, sang a-capella, got to know each other &
took pictures of the very first SUNDAY at
Faith Harbor of Muskegon.

For now-
we are meeting at WMC high-school in Muskegon at 10:30 am on Sundays.

Our kids made use of the "church is over, but our parents are still fellowshipping" time - and decided it was a great opportunity to relax and 'text' important people.

Good Journey. Change is hard... we were at Kainay for 17 years, havent really landed anywhere consistently for 2 years, almost 3, I am thankful for the journey, we have an entire family at Upper Room where we were for 9 months and a few other refugee friends from the last year. We are finding that this season without being "plugged in" to one body has helped us grow as a family and with our friends. We are digging into the word a lot and growing closer than even times when we were 100% invested in the church in programs... The great thing is that you felt God in the decision!
